Test Protocol
This is a single-load-to-failure strength test. The harness is installed around an SAE AS8049 aerospace body block and attached to the appropriate fixtures. The block is pulled until the harness fails or to a maximum load of 44,480N/10,000 lbs-force. See FAA Advisory Circular 23-4, FMVSS 209, SAE J4c, SAE AS8043 and SFI 16.1/16.5.
